Fútbol Para Siempre is a collection of nineteen jumbo-sized, 30-inch art and design soccer balls created as both an artistic exploration and a personal tribute. Fifteen were professionally fabricated and four were handcrafted, fulfilling a dream I had carried for years: transforming the world's most iconic sporting object into a monumental canvas for art, storytelling, and memory.
Created in anticipation of the 2026 FIFA World Cup hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada, this series reflects on the joy, passion, and lifelong connections that football has brought into my life. More importantly, it honors the memory of my beloved son, Ricardo "Pnut" Romero, with whom I shared my final World Cup experience in 2022. These works imagine the conversations, matches, celebrations, and unforgettable moments we would have shared together during this historic tournament.
The collection explores three distinct soccer ball constructions: the Truncated Icosahedron, the Dodecahedron, and the Champions League star-ball pattern. Each geometry offers a unique artistic framework. Some balls function as portals, where individual panels open windows into football's rich history and legendary figures. Others become mosaics of color, culture, design, and emotion. The segmented surfaces create multiple canvases that unite into a single form, much like the game itself unites people across nations, generations, and backgrounds.
From tributes to iconic players and historic moments to abstract explorations of movement, beauty, and identity, each sphere captures a different dimension of the sport. Together, they celebrate football as more than a game. They celebrate friendship, family, creativity, competition, and the shared experiences that connect us through every pass, goal, victory, and heartbreak.
These nineteen spheres stand as monuments to The Beautiful Game. They celebrate the memories we carry, the people we cherish, and the enduring spirit of football. Every panel tells a story. Every sphere holds a memory. Together, they remind us that while tournaments come and go, love, creativity, and connection remain part of the story forever.

The soccer ball sculptures offered for exhibition, auction, or sale are intended solely as works of art and collectible display pieces. They are not manufactured, licensed, sponsored, endorsed, or affiliated with FIFA, UEFA, Adidas, Nike, Major League Soccer, any professional football club, player, league, governing body, or other third-party organization unless expressly stated in writing.
Any references to football players, teams, tournaments, historical events, or cultural subjects are presented as artistic interpretation, commentary, tribute, or transformative creative expression.
By submitting a bid, prospective buyers acknowledge that:
All sales are final unless otherwise agreed to in writing by the artist and will not be available for delivery or pick-up until all art exhibits are completed after Labor Day Holiday in September 2026. Once notified by email or phone payments need to made within 24 hours or artwork will go to the following bidder in chronological order. Payments need to be paid in full either by Cash, Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal.
The artist retains all copyrights, reproduction rights, and intellectual property rights associated with the artwork unless expressly transferred through a separate written agreement.
Purchase of a physical artwork does not grant the buyer the right to reproduce, manufacture, distribute, license, publish, modify, or commercially exploit the artwork in any form.
Minor variations, imperfections, and handcrafted characteristics may exist and are considered part of the unique nature of the artwork.
The artist reserves the right to reject any bid, withdraw any artwork from sale, or modify sale terms at any time prior to the completion of a transaction.
Shipping, handling, insurance, taxes, customs duties, and related costs are the responsibility of the purchaser unless otherwise specified.
